Devon Brady, LMHC

Welcome,
I am third-generation in the Hudson Valley and seek to create a world of togetherness, trust, strength, and beauty through authentic expression, openness to listening, and supporting community connections. It is through my own personal journeys into nature and the wilderness which led to understanding my soul-calling and purpose of connecting with others in a deep and supportive way to help them look within themselves and find their own unique way to walk and be in the world.
I have ten years of experience working with various contemplative and wilderness-based practices including yoga, Aikido, meditation, vision-fast, and ceremony and bring the practices or the insights into the shared and collaborative space created by me and my clients.
I practice the art of psychotherapy with a heart and soul centered approach which seeks to support others on their journey to wholeness and integration. I provide individual as well as family therapy to all-ages with a focus on curiosity, genuine sharing, re-connection, empowerment, sense of identity and choice.
Areas of support that I am most helpful with:
Trauma and PTSD, Attachment Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Life-Transition, Parent-Child/Teen Relationship Relationship Challenges, Spiritual Issues, Sense of Purpose or Meaning in Life,
Modalities and Techniques Applied:
Contemplative Practices
Mindfulness
Gestalt
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Solution-Focused Therapy
Family-Systems and Structural Family Therapy
